The San Antonio Spurs trained in Paris on Wednesday (January 22) on the eve of an NBA match against the Indiana Pacers.
Wednesday's training saw Spurs star 21-year-old Victor Wembanyama, originally from the Paris suburb of Nanterre, playing back on home soil ahead of the match in the French capital's Accor Arena.
Following matches in 2020, 2023 and 2024, the U.S. basketball league is holding two matches in Paris to the delight of fans.
In Wednesday's match, the Spurs are hoping to end a three-game losing streak, after most recently succumbing to the Miami Heat on Sunday (January 19).
"The most important thing for him and for us as a team is to win," the Spurs' Jeremy Sochan said.
