MANILA — The Philippine National Police (PNP) strengthened its partnership with the government of Israel to enhance intelligence sharing, modernize police training, and adopt global best practices in community policing and public safety.

Acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. welcomed Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Dana Kursh during a courtesy call at Camp Crame on Tuesday.

According to Nartatez, the meeting focused on expanding cooperation in critical areas such as security, capacity building, and information exchange—key components in improving the PNP’s operational effectiveness.
