MANILA -- The second edition of the Trillion Peso March, a program calling for action against corruption, formally concluded at 6:07 PM at the People Power Monument in Quezon City.
According to Kiko Aquino Dee, one of the event organizers, this year’s anti-corruption gathering was “a success.”
He added that they received no reports of participants straying from the intended message of the program, which aims to end corruption and demand accountability.
Initial crowd estimates placed attendance at 33,000 to 55,000 throughout the day, with participants coming and going despite a heavy downpour in the afternoon.

Still, rain or shine, organizers pushed through with a packed program featuring celebrities, artists, and public figures.
Among those who took the stage were Rep. Leila de Lima, beauty queen Catriona Gray, comedian and actress Pokwang, Mitch Valdez, bands such as Ben&Ben, indie artist Amiel Sol, and speakers Elijah Canlas, former Usec. Cielo Magno, and actress Pinky Amador.
When asked whether there would be a Part 3 of the Trillion Peso March, Dee responded, "Medyo ako po ay puyat pa, so hindi ko pa naiisip yung next na round natin."
"Kung kinakailangan ay magkakaroon ng part 3… salamat po sa tiwala na patuloy po kaming magpo-provide ng espasyo kung saan maihahayag po natin ng makabuluhan na ipapanawagan natin ang laban sa korupsyon. Kung tuloy-tuloy lang po yung corruption issues, we are anticipating na magkakaroon ng susunod pa," he added.
Meanwhile, the Quezon City Police District reported no untoward incidents throughout the event. Rallyists dispersed peacefully, and traffic flow along the southbound lane of EDSA has returned to normal.
