TOKYO — Filipino cosplayer and content creator Prince de Guzman stunned “Fallout” fans and cast alike with a jaw-droppingly accurate take on The Ghoul.

Apart from compliments he got from local Japanese who asked to take pictures with him after the season 2 premiere of the Prime Video series in Tokyo, Japan, de Guzman also got a nod from stars Kyle Maclachlan and Ella Purnell who plays Hank and Lucy in the series.

“It is amazing. Great work,” Purnell praised.

“It is incredible. It is very impressive. You can’t see it at home but this guy is very scary. Very scary,” MacLachlan described.

According to de Guzman, the shout-out made the arduous five-hour transformation, using paint, latex prosthetics, and other materials he crafted himself, feel even more rewarding.

“It is the best part. Kanina nagwawala na ako mag-isa, five hours make up. Kausap ko brush ko, pinapagalitan ko. All worth it,” he recalled.

De Guzman has been cosplaying for years, consistently pushing beyond what’s expected with his passion driving him further each time.

“Cosplay for me is an expression of love. This is my way of expressing my love, talent, might as well bring it here. And they loved it,” he said.

“Fallout” Season 2 drops on Prime Video on December 17.
