Ternocon IV was quite a star-studded affair. From legendary designers, politicians, actors, to beauty queens, Ternocon gathers the best in every field to celebrate Filipino fashion. The contest held at the prestigious Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) revealed promising creations by 12 Filipino designers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
CEO and Founder of Bench, Ben Chan, and President of the Cultural Center of the Philippines Kaye Tinga gave their welcoming remarks. The First Lady of the Philippines Liza Marcos attended the show. Other illustrious politicians like Mayor Francis Zamora and his wife Keri Neri and the stylish Audrey Tan-Zubiri, wife of Senator Migz Zubiri, were present at Ternocon.
Spotted on the front row were designers Inno Sotto and Francis Libiran. This year's mentors, Rhett Eala, Lulu Tan-Gan, and Ezra Santos presented strong collections to celebrate the terno.
Chelsea Manalo graced the show in a custom Manny Halasan terno dress while Michelle Dee opted to wear a Jaggy Glarino look. Celebrities Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, and Robbie Jaworski donned Joey Samson creations, a fitting tribute to the Ternocon mentor and "garment surgeon."
