Sixteen years after shooting up to immense stardom through his victorious and remarkable "Pinoy Big Brother" stint in 2010, "Multimedia Powerhouse" James Reid couldn't be any happier and prouder to finally have the opportunity to perform for the very first time in Sydney as one of the Kapamilya artists tapped to join the Australia leg of "ASAP XP."

The Tiktok Entertainment Center in the said city erupted in loud, kilig cheers as soon as the "Someone, Someday" lead star appeared from the audience area and started serenading everyone with his fan-favorite hit "Randomantic"—more than a decade since it was released in 2015.

Fans couldn't hide their excitement as James walked through the crowd, greeting supporters and stopping for photos before taking the stage. The energy only grew louder as the audience enthusiastically sang along with him, with the sweetest moment coming at the song's closing line, when fans sang "I love you" back to James. Smiling, he replied, "I love you too!"—sending the crowd into even louder kilig cheers.

After his performance, James shared how meaningful the moment was for him, especially because it marked his first-ever performance in Australia. He conveyed, "This is actually a very special performance for me because this is my very first time to perform in Australia. Very first time. So, thank you so much for having me. Thank you so much for being part of this. It's so good to hear you, guys, singing my lyrics back to me. Really. It's such a huge honor."

Keeping the atmosphere lively, James also led the audience in the iconic "Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!" chant, with the crowd enthusiastically responding, "Oi! Oi! Oi!"

James first captured the hearts of viewers in 2010 as one of the "teen-ternational" housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash of 2010," where he was introduced as "Ang Dashing Dude of Australia." Born and raised in Sydney, he lived there until he was 15 years old before moving to the Philippines with his English-Australian father to pursue opportunities that eventually launched his successful career in entertainment.

Watch out for more world-class and remarkable performances on “ASAP XP,” Sundays at 5:30 PM on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, A2Z, and online via Kapamilya Online Live (KOL) and iWant.
