After a lighthearted conversation with some of the Lucky Stars in the studio, "Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal" host Luis Manzano turned his attention to actor-content creator Marsy, who was celebrating his birthday during the taping.
Appearing as a beloved Lucky Star duo on the game show, Abdul expressed his heartfelt wishes for his close friend, hoping for Marsy's continued success as he pursues his dreams and works toward his goals in life. Abdul also made a heartfelt promise to his buddy, saying, "Sasamahan ko siya hanggang sa dulo."
Touched by Abdul's heartfelt message, Marsy shared that they spend most of their time together. He then jokingly quipped that he hoped their close bond wouldn't eventually lead to romance.
Coincidentally, Abdul and Marsy were chosen as the special celebrity players for the show's August 2 episode after the Lucky Wheel landed on their assigned briefcase, number 14. The two immediately slipped into character, briefly embracing their flamboyant personas as they playfully fanned themselves with their hands on their way to the stage.
Showcasing more of their charm and charisma, the duo looked back on how they first met in their humor-filled introduction video. They were both members of San Beda University's cheering squad, where their playful and expressive personalities first shone. Their manager would organize Miss Gay pageants among the pep squad's male members, and the two often walked away with the crown.
Beyond their hilarious online antics, Abdul and Marsy are devoted partners to their respective significant others. Abdul recently tied the knot with his wife, Charlene, while Marsy remains happily engaged to his fiancée, Claire.
Convinced by the series of signs they encountered involving the number six, the pair ultimately trusted their intuition and swapped their assigned briefcase number 14, for Jannah Alanise's briefcase, number 6—a decision that would later change their lives for the better.
