Billy (Kathryn Bernardo) enthusiastically presents Love List’s latest feature, “Love Line,” to the representatives of the company that is investing. They particularly favor the idea about it functioning similarly to a hotline, but smartly featuring real-time advice and emotional support from licensed professionals.
One of the representatives raises questions regarding anonymity, such as the risk of the user’s identity being leaked. Giving Billy a helping hand, Jordan (James Reid) underscores the reliability of encrypted information in the application. After a few seconds of silence, the representatives eventually applaud, although they require the final approval from their boss.
Instead of the anticipated appearance of Mr. Salceda, Alvin’s (JC de Vera) unexpected arrival surprises both Billy and Jordan. As it turned out, Mr. Salceda recently resigned, and Alvin succeeded him as the newly appointed vice president of AnCore Ventures.
In her imagination, Billy reproaches Alvin and punches him, with Jordan backing her up. Besides that, Billy seeks out Alvin’s intentions, especially considering that she was against anything that involved him after he left her for another woman on their wedding day.
Returning to reality, Billy simply ended up standing still, and Jordan looked confused at Alvin’s awkward greeting.
