Leading the cast is Alexa Ilacad, who brings Marla Briones to life—a driven, top-ranking student admired by everyone around her. When it comes to her favorites, Alexa admits she’s a fan of carbohydrates, with noodles, sushi, and peanut butter topping her list of go-to snacks. While Marla’s signature color in “Miss Behave” is pink, Alexa’s personal palette leans toward the timeless contrast of black and white.
Alexa’s next picks revealed some of her entertainment favorites. She first thought of the comedy-drama “Desperate Housewives” as her all-time favorite series, but joked that the title was too long to write down. She then considered the classic sitcom “FRIENDS” before ultimately settling on the legal drama “Law & Order.” When it came to movies, Alexa took a moment to think before choosing Tim Burton’s 2005 animated classic, “Corpse Bride.”
Hiro Arikawa’s coming-of-age novel “The Traveling Cat Chronicles” tops Alexa’s reading list. Reflecting its Japanese roots, she named Japan as one of her favorite places, alongside the comfort of home. Choosing her current go-to anthem also took some thought, but she eventually settled on "Lyin'" by Justin Bieber as the song she has on repeat.
The comforting hug emoji is Alexa’s favorite emoticon, while English ranks as her top school subject. She also included Math—but with a playful twist, joking that it stands for “Meryenda, Almusal, Tanghalian, Hapunan,” as she laughed while explaining her answer.
Keeping the fun going, Alexa once again channeled Rufa Mae Quinto by writing, “Just Always Pray At Night” as her message to her future self, before adding the cheeky reminder, “Bawal Mabulok!”
Alexa’s life motto is the heartwarming quote, “Be the person your dog thinks you are,” a reminder to live up to the unconditional love and admiration our dogs have for us. When asked to name two things she’s good at, Alexa turned to her “Miss Behave” co-stars for input. Akira Morishita, who plays Warren, was quick to answer that she’s great at recommending places to eat and taking care of everyone around her. Alexa then added two more of her own strengths: staying up late and giving thoughtful gifts.
