We all know by now that Coco Martin has been a household name since his mainstream debut on television. With hit dramas like “Tayong Dalawa”, “Walang Hanggan”, and “Juan dela Cruz”, Coco has proven his acting prowess. Not only that, he also proved his versatility and charm through the big screen with his roles in some blockbuster films such as “You’re My Boss”, “Super Parental Guardians”, “Beauty and the Bestie”, and so much more.

In 2017, Coco launched his own production company CCM Productions to which he took a dive into directing. The first film to be produced under CCM Productions is his take on another of Fernando Poe Jr’s iconic roles as the Panday. “Ang Panday” was his entry for the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival and is considered a box office hit.
He co-wrote the story and screenplay adaptation alongside Joel Mercado. Other than that, he also served as a producer for the film. It is a collaboration between CCM Film Productions, ABS-CBN Productions (Star Cinema), and Viva Films. Later on, he produced two more films under CCM Productions titled “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles”, and “3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon!”.
Aside from films, Coco is also credited as a co-director in one of his hit series, “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano”.
With so many responsibilities as an actor, director, and writer, Coco still had time to be guest stunt director for the big and explosive episode of “Pamilya Sagrado”.

This is the first time that he will direct an action scene where he was not one of the actors. He felt honored to be given a lot of trust as a guest director; that’s why he even brought the “Batang Quiapo” team. Working with veteran actors like Piolo Pascual, Shaina Magdayao and John Arcilla and directing a different story far from Batang Quiapo, Coco doesn't deny he was stressed because he wanted the story to show more contrast from his teleseries.
