Jalil (Gerald Anderson) as Major Allan makes his way to Barangay Surga with the objective to peacefully arrest the surrendering Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas). The second he exits his car, Jalil is immediately confronted by the enraged residents defending Datu Rahman’s innocence and insisting that the datu cannot be found in the barangay.
To clarify his nonviolent intent, Jalil discloses that it was Datu Rahman who surrendered willingly. Despite his truth, the residents persist in following him in hopes of preventing him from apprehending the Datu.
The only person who is capable of alleviating the residents’ fears and concerns is Omar (Edgar Mortiz), who provides them with the assurance that Jalil is their ally. Right after Jamilah (Barbie Imperial) comes out, Datu Rahman follows suit, shocking the residents.
Reaffirming Jalil’s words, Datu Rahman announces that he’ll be protected, then allows himself to get handcuffed. As he slowly departs Barangay Surga, he extends sincere gratitude to the people for their compassion for him.
Just before entering Jalil’s car, he shares one last hug with Jamilah. Then, on the way to NLEA’s headquarters, he converses with Jalil, saying that he should return to Isla Damai for the villagers who need him.
