Another week, another set of lucky star players who would try their luck in “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.” And for the May 9 episode, it was the ravishing Aubrey Miles who stepped in as the lucky star player and attempted to win the P1 million jackpot prize.

With regard to how she would use the P1 million cash prize if she were fortunate enough to take it home, she revealed that she plans to add it to the fund for her and husband Troy Montero’s youngest child, Rocket, who has been diagnosed with autism. At the same time, she also hopes to use part of the prize to help fellow parents of children on the spectrum. Together with Troy, she continues to advocate for autism awareness and aims to assist families who cannot afford therapy for their children.

Prior to officially starting the game, Luis asked Aubrey if she would like to swap briefcases with a fellow lucky star, which she declined. She chose to stick with her briefcase—although she considered switching with Eric’s number 10 briefcase—for the reason that she values their history since number 11 has been assigned to her ever since this season began.

Unfortunately for Aubrey, she immediately opened the briefcases containing three huge amounts, including the P1 million jackpot prize. It may have gotten her disheartened, yet she still opted to fight and rejected Banker’s initial offer of P11,000.

The second round began with Aubrey proudly introducing her beloved eldest son, Maurie Obligacion, to everyone. Luis asked Maurie to describe her as a mom, to which he shared that he actually finds it fun to have her as a mother because she’s not strict and has always been supportive of his passions.

As she sought the help of Maurie, Aubrey was able to get rid of three low amounts, prompting Banker to offer P65,000, which she also turned down.

Lady Luck seemed to be not on Aubrey’s side that evening as she continually opened huge amounts in the succeeding rounds, including the remaining highest prize P500,000, which was inside Diego Gutierrez’s briefcase. She also felt a pang of regret when briefcase number 10 was revealed to open P50,000—the last relatively high amount on the money board.

In the end, Aubrey said “NO DEAL” to Banker’s final offer of P3,800, hoping that her briefcase contains P5,000. It was revealed to only have P300.

As Luis asked how she felt about her stint, Aubrey said, “Para sa akin, isa na ‘to sa winning moments ko. So, thank you, guys, sa experience,” she said, then added, “And don’t worry [about] Rocket, she will still be good. Okay siya ngayon. We’ll still continue the therapy. This is just one of our happy moments also. So, salamat, ‘Deal or No Deal.’ Happy ako!”

Will the next lucky star player—Rave Victoria—have the same fate as her, or will be luckier? Let’s all find out by not missing “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” airing Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30 PM on ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), or stream anytime on iWant!
