The show opened on a nostalgic high note with an electrifying performance from the one and only Gary Valenciano, who took longtime fans down memory lane with three of his early hits, namely, “‘Wag Mo Na Sanang Isipin,” “Mahal na Mahal Ko Siya,” and “Di Bale Na Lang.” Adding more energy to the stage was BGYO, who joined him as backup dancers.
Gary also shared a special duet moment with Queen of RnB Kyla as they performed the timeless Jose Mari Chan masterpiece “Can We Just Stop and Talk A While.”
Good vibes continued to fill the Big Dome as BINI charmed the audience with their feel-good performance of “Unang Kilig,” likely leaving fans wishing they could “rewind and repeat” the moment. Jona embodied Christine Daaé from “The Phantom of the Opera” through her emotional performance of “All I Ask of You,” while Jason Dy impressed audiences with his rendition of “Music of the Night.”
Sans the prosthetics, make-up, and costumes, the tandem of Marielle Montellano and JM Dela Cerna once again wowed viewers with their duet of “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked.” International champions Jed Madela and Sofronio Vasquez showcased their vocal versatility through Broadway songs originally performed by female artists. Jed belted out “I Dreamed A Dream” from “Les Miserables,” while Sofronio astonishingly reached the high notes of “Never Enough” from “The Greatest Showman.”
