“Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” host Luis Manzano commenced the May 23 episode by asking a couple of lucky stars how they felt about being part of the iconic game show.
The first one to answer was AC Bonifacio, who expressed her excitement and revealed that appearing on the show had long been her mother’s dream.
“I’m super excited po kasi pangarap ‘to ng nanay ko!” she shared, prompting Luis to jokingly interrupt and suggest that her mother should have been the one to join the show instead. Then she added, “Every morning, ito lang po ang naririnig ko—‘Deal or No Deal’ tsaka boses n’yo po. Kaya I’m excited to be here!”
Next to speak was Rave Victoria, whom Luis noticed received loud cheers and enthusiastic reactions from the studio audience upon the entrance of the lucky stars. As Rave enthused, “Grabe, Kuya Luis, dati nanonood lang kami ng lola ko ng ‘Deal or No Deal’,” the host suddenly stopped him and jokingly acted offended by his mention of watching the show with his grandmother. Thus, Rave quickly clarified that he was genuinely thrilled to be there, saying, “Idol na idol ko ’tong show na ’to.”
Luis appeared to take the explanation in stride but warned in jest that he would have lucky star Negi removed from the show if Rave brought up age again. Negi then playfully told Rave never to mention it again.
