One of them is “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” Kapamilya 3rd Big Placer Joaquin Arce, who brought music and laughter to the Songbayanan and amped up the fun-filled atmosphere during the episode that aired on May 16.

When it comes to karaoke, Joaquin Arce shared that he loves singing anything by the OPM band Eraserheads. When emotions run deep, he often turns to the ballads of Adele. For workouts and gym sessions, he prefers streaming songs by Nirvana, drawn to the hard rock energy of “Lithium” and “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
Joaquin proudly shared that he listens across genres. On his way to work, he usually plays breakcore tracks, known for their upbeat tempos and heavy sampling. “Mahilig ako sa mga niche music,” he added, saying it sometimes gives him “Fast and Furious” energy whenever he drives to those bops.
The conversation then turned to songs that carry deeper meaning. Rosa Walton’s 2022 release “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” is the track that makes him emotional, while “Don't Stop Me Now” by Queen is the song he dedicates to himself—an anthem about living in the moment and staying unstoppable that perfectly matches his spirit. For road trips, he said nothing beats Oasis’ “Don't Look Back in Anger.”
Filipino music remains a playlist staple for Joaquin. He added that he enjoys listening to Rivermaya and Eraserheads, whose classic hits elevate any long drive. When asked about his favorite OPM release, he named the Eraserheads jam “Ligaya.”
Moreover, Joaquin’s current LSS is Kitchie Nadal’s iconic “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin,” while “Tensionado” by Soapdish reminds him of a special someone. And what track instantly makes him groove? The Kapamilya actor revealed that any song will do—he starts dancing as soon as he hears a rhythm. “Kung nagdala ka ng speaker, or nag-play ka ng song, sasayaw ako,” he admitted.
