Before proceeding to the second round of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” where he had to open four briefcases, host Luis Manzano asked first-ever lucky star player Bassilyo regarding his experience working with the one and only “Kapamilya Primetime King” Coco Martin, whom he got to work with on both “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
According to Bassilyo, “Para kaming sundalo. Tinuruan niya kami [na] dapat maging propesyunal, hindi ka dapat nala-late. Kailangan maging magiliw ka sa lahat ng mga katrabaho mo. At dapat bago mag-show, naliligo.” Aside from the very unserious last sentence, he also quipped that his eight years of being an actor made him realize that he’s still not very good at it.
“Eight years na ako na kasama si Direk Coco. Noong una, dahil hindi naman talaga ako artista e, rapper ako...hindi ko alam kung marunong ba akong umarte. Pero, syempre, eight years na ako, ngayon alam ko na hindi talaga,” he said, before adding with a laugh, “Pero mabait ako.”
