After Jamilah (Barbie Imperial), Omar (Edgar Mortiz), Norhana (Malou Crisologo), and the other allies of theirs struggled to hide a wounded Jalil (Gerald Anderson) from Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) and Lara’s (Bela Padilla) advancing team, Omar and Jamilah successfully returned to their hidden van and began to carefully transport Jalil to a trustworthy doctor.
The retreat of the remaining Special Investigations Division personnel as well as NLEA’s police force made their escape easier, combined with the unidentified doctor’s response to Omar’s multiple distressed calls.
Moments later, the kind doctor whom Omar has known for a long time is revealed to be Teresa (Susan Africa), Marcus’ mother. Without hesitation, Teresa proceeds to treat Jalil’s gushing wound, recommending a minor surgical removal of the bullet. Luckily, Jalil's blood type unexpectedly matched Marcus, which enabled him to be safely operated right away.
While conducting the emergency operation, Marcus is then seen attempting to contact Teresa.
