Fueled by his burning desire to exact vengeance on the Guerreros and their minion, Rigor (John Estrada), for the relentless vile acts they had inflicted not just on him and his loved ones but also on the people of Manila, Tanggol (Coco Martin) finally came out and stepped forward to lead the public in demonstrations against the corrupt regime.

Though initially weighed down by the enormous responsibility and the dangers it entails, Tanggol’s aspiration to bring meaningful change to his beloved city prevailed. His resolve was strengthened by the unwavering support of his allies—from the city councilors and Congressman Leo Mojica (Rey Campanilla) to National Electoral Council Commissioner Ignacio Medina (Simon Ibarra) and Fr. Ruben (Nanding Josef)—as well as the moral support of his parents, Ramon (Christopher de Leon) and Marites (Cherry Pie Picache).

Cong. Leo and Comm. Medina also advised Tanggol that the time has come to drive the Guerreros out of city hall, so he must act without delay to claim what is rightfully his so as not to disappoint the people relying on him.

Meanwhile, Fr. Ruben reminded him that God stands behind him and promises not to forsake him since He will use him as an instrument to end the wickedness of the Guerreros. He assured Tanggol that the people of Manila got his back and that God surely wants him to defend the people who are victims of injustices. Thus, he must act now and not hesitate anymore.

Inspired by these words, Tanggol suddenly rose from his seat, grabbed the gun on the table, and with tears in his eyes, strutted out of Fr. Ruben’s office, trailed by his parents, the priest, Comm. Medina, Cong. Leo, and the councilors. Before stepping out of the church, Fr. Ruben stopped him for a heartfelt prayer, invoking the guidance of Nuestro Señor Jesus Nazareno to bless the actions about to unfold and to mark the beginning of a real transformation in the city.

True enough, the people at the Plaza Miranda swiftly ran towards Tanggol upon catching sight of him and his group marching out of the Quiapo Church. They repeatedly called his name to show their immense support, prompting Tanggol to pump his fist in air, which serves as a powerful symbol that he is finally heeding the call of the people and leading the fight against the Guerreros.
