From being consumed all over again by his deeply entrenched trauma resulting from the reemergence of his abusive father, Crisanto, Edong promptly finds his bearings and continues unabated with his plots to take revenge. He at last teaches Crisanto the irreversible consequences of his relentless cruelty in the past and swears to his mother, Dolores, that he’s still the same son who loved her.

Shortly after killing Crisanto, Edong rushes toward Erica, Beth, Alice, and Mel, whom he spotted trying to escape the lethal grip of Edward, the real murderer of Louisa. Without an inch of reluctance, Edong shoots Edward and then turns his furious gaze to MABEL, refusing any attempts at reconciliation from them.

Just before Edong could take their lives, Lucas comes to the rescue, aching to save his brother the most. A bullet scratches Marco, and the brothers’ confrontation becomes more wrenching than ever before.

Edong continues to object to Lucas’ pleas, solely driven by his personal mission. Left with no other option, Lucas wrestles with Edong, their bond slowly coming to a grievous farewell.

Edong’s quest unfolds into the forgiveness of Lucas and, before long, takes shape as a story that reminds society of the injustices that persist and the irreparable exploitation of the lives of those who are rendered defenseless by the very law that’s supposed to protect them.
