After multiple arguments, Lucas (JM de Guzman) decides to cooperate with Erica (Kaila Estrada), Marco (Race Matias), and Amurao’s police force by agreeing to utilize Crisanto (Gerald Madrid) in luring Edong (Jake Cuenca) from his hiding.
Appearing skeptical at first since he speculates that Edong would instantly punish him for murdering the Santiago Brothers’ mother, Dolores (Jennica Garcia), Crisanto eventually takes part in their plans upon the recommendation that his sentence would be reduced.
Moments later, Erica and Lucas have an emotional conversation, with Lucas pleading with Erica to not allow Edong to be killed. Despite Edong’s long list of casualties, including Erica’s half-sister, Althea (Andi Abaya), Lucas stresses that he still won’t give up on seeking professional help for Edong.
Empathizing, Erica nods at Lucas’ request, knowing that Edong is just a victim of a corrupted system. However, she does emphasize that Edong should take accountability for his mistakes and reasons that he needs to be caught to give everyone a chance to begin again, including himself.
The two gently intertwine hands before Lucas receives an awaited call from Edong.
