Driven by his desire to avenge the death of Primo (Lito Lapid), as well as to claim the reward being offered by Mayor Miguelito Guerrero (Jake Cuenca) to whoever could provide information on the whereabouts of Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group, Ben (Mark Lapid) opted to betray them.
Unbeknownst to Tropang Tanggol, who believed that he was being a good friend to them after he allowed them to take refuge in his house while they were still being hunted by the authorities, Ben went to the city hall to personally relay to Miguelito that they’ve been staying with him and his wife. Miguelito was initially skeptical after hearing countless claims from others, but Ben eventually managed to convince him that he was indeed telling the truth.
Aside from giving him directions to his house and suggestions for them to successfully entrap the group, Ben also warned Miguelito to be extra cautious because of how dangerous Tanggol could be. He was too trusting that he immediately believed in his promise that he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to his wife, Gina (Sue Prado).
Once he got the information that he needed, Miguelito wasted no time and immediately called the Quiapo Police to back him up in another battle against Tanggol and his friends. It was Mando (Allan Paule) who was able to take the call, so it was to him whom the wicked mayor entrusted with this quite covert operation.
Upon arriving at Ben’s neighborhood, Miguelito instructed the police to surround his house while the group of Tanggol was still inside. Ben beseeched Miguelito to allow him to take his pregnant wife to safety first before they went on with the plan, reminding him of their agreement at the city hall.
However, the wicked mayor ignored his pleas, telling him he didn't care about his family, as he had come there solely for Tanggol. Ben tried one last time to beg Miguelito, but to no avail, as he ordered the police to open fire on his house.
