Alice (Janella Salvador) informs Erica (Kaila Estrada) of the recent findings she gathered from her Uncle Edward (Joel Molina). In relation to their search for overlooked details about Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) killer, Edward mentions their schoolmate Kyle (Kobie Brown).
Aware of Kyle’s past feud with Louisa, Edward explains that Kyle went back to Amurao around the same time Louisa’s murder took place. His return, however, was discreet, with Edward only knowing because Kyle’s family attended the same church as his.
The flashback of Kyle and Louisa’s argument begins with Louisa enduring the humiliation caused by her brother’s frequent drunken altercations in town, as well as the troubled history of her family. Amid all this, Kyle was one of the few who seemed to care about her, even inviting her to hang out at the boardwalk.
Upon meeting Kyle, his empathetic persona is revealed to be an act. He leads Louisa to an empty boat beside an abandoned dock, gets her intoxicated, and sexually harasses her. Although Louisa manages to escape, the incident leaves her traumatized, made worse when Kyle spreads false rumors suggesting that she was the one who took advantage of him.
Louisa overhears more students in the restroom accusing her of seducing Kyle—who was actually young Mel’s (Reich Alim) longtime suitor.
After their room activity, Louisa decides to leave her groupmates—Beth (Allyson McBride), Alice (Eliza Borromeo), and Erica (Krystal Mejes)—fed up with Beth’s murmurs, which echo the circulating rumors.
As she walks away, Louisa stumbles upon Kyle and Mel conversing by the staircase, with Kyle twisting the story again, claiming that Louisa was the one insisting on being intimate with him.
Beth, Alice, and Erica follow Louisa, listening to the heated confrontation. Louisa explains that if she hadn’t escaped, Kyle would have done worse and sexually assaulted her. Seeing that many students are watching, Kyle turns to defend himself, painting Louisa as obsessed.
At her limit, Louisa calls him a rapist. At that moment, Kyle becomes violent, prompting even Erica and Beth to step in to stop him. As Louisa tries to break away, Kyle trips on the stairs and injures himself.
