The tea kept spilling as the eight remaining housemates took the hot seat in the ‘Ultimate Tapatan’ on “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”
The Ultimate 8 faced spicy questions from the public and evictees aimed at testing their “pagpapakatotoo” and whether they are worthy of being hailed as the Big Winner.
Like the housemates before her, Lella Ford was pressed by host Bianca Gonzalez about her mantra, “paggalang,” which she seemingly failed to uphold after becoming the top rule violator at the start of the season.
Lella reflected, “Doon po ako nagkulang sa respeto kay Big Brother since bahay niya po ito. Hindi lang po kay Big Brother pero pati na rin po sa, of course, my mom, since hindi ko po nasunod 'yung mga bilin niya sa akin. Pero ito po 'yung panghahawakan ko this 2026, ang paggalang, and I will make sure na ma-apply ko po siya this 2026.”
She further shared her mother Karla Estrada's advice to follow the rules while still being herself and to “make mistakes and learn from it.” After explaining, all of the ex-housemates judged her answer as “truth.”
The next question came from the public. “Hindi ka kailanman na-nominate kahit naging top violator ka. Sa tingin mo ba may bias ang housemates sa'yo dahil sa family background mo? Kung ibang housemate ang nasa posisyon mo, sa tingin mo ba parehi pa rin ang trato sa kan'ya?”
She responded, “I don't think may bias po sila. If meron man, imposibleng ako po 'yun since everytime mayroon po akong nagagawang mali, pino-point po talaga nila. Kung iba man po 'yung top violator, I think pareho pa rin naman po 'yung trato sa kan'ya. Yes, I'm the top violator pero tinama ko po lahat ng mga mali ko at pinakita ko na I am more than my mistakes.” The jury composed of the 12 ex-housemates delivered a perfect “truth” verdict.
Lella was amused when she faced Anton Vinzon, who grilled her with the question, “Sino sa tingin mo ang hindi karapat-dapat sa Ultimate 8? At sino sa ex-housemates angg gusto mong ipalit sa kan'ya?”
She even teased Anton, saying, “Ang over ng tanong mo ah!” before initially insisting that everyone is deserving. But when scrutinized for "playing safe," Lella answered after a pause, “Si Caprice [Cayetano],” which visibly shocked the jury. “Ang gusto kong ipalit sa kan'ya si Marco [Masa]. 'Yung last days [ni Marco] dito, grabe, ang dami niyang naipakita hindi lang as a housemate but as a leader.”
When asked why she chose Caprice as not deserving, she expounded, “Si Caprice kasi hindi ko pa nakita lahat ng sides niya, sa pagiging leader-leader, hindi ko siya gaanong napansin.” It was a sweep—12 “truth” and zero “lies” from the panel.
Like Joaquin Arce, Lella was also confronted about the genuineness of their connection. Evicted housemate John Clifford said, “I feel like ''yung closeness n'yo ni Joaquin ay hindi genuine kaya paano mo ma-a-assure sa akin na hindi planado ang love team n'yong ito?”
Smiling, Lella replied, “Una sa lahat, hindi love team ang ipinasok ko dito. Una sa lahat, ''yun talaga ang pinaka-ayaw ko, na ma-link ako sa iba. Pumasok ako dito sa loob ng bahay to make a name for myself. This my journey. This is supposed to be about me. Ako 'to. Kuwento ko 'to.”
“I mean, yeah, sure, before we had some camera tests, 'yung mga pairing-pairing after our contract signing. Pero hindi predictable 'yung mga nangyari here inside at kahit may mga plano pa outside, hindi mo 'yun madadala dito inside sa sobrangg tagal ng stay dito.”
She firmly concluded, “So, no.” Once again, the jury delivered 12 “truths.”
