When Bahay Ni Kuya opened its doors to 20 Gen Z celebrities from ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and GMA’s Sparkle for the “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” season, Caprice Cayetano stepped in with her moniker “Demure Daughter ng Quezon City” almost stamped into the way she carried herself. The "demure" part was visible in her delicate mannerisms and eloquence.
Most days, you would find her at the sink, washing plates and cleaning up, or in the living room adjusting the sofa pillows back into place. And somehow that 'obsessive' attention to cleanliness became her signature. But week after week, Caprice would prove that being quiet is also a power move, that one doesn't need to be loud to be relevant. Demure and determined can co-exist.
With a sure seat at the Big Night, let’s scroll back to how Caprice secured her place in the Ultimate 8.
First Kapuso Weekly Task Leader
As the youngest among the female housemates, Caprice was handed a heavy responsibility early on when she was assigned as leader for the season’s first-ever weekly task, alongside the eldest of the boys, Iñigo Jose.
Together, they led the 18 other housemates in a task that required them to keep candles balanced on a ‘candelabra’ for an entire week without letting the flames go out. Under their watch, the housemates succeeded in completing the challenge, marking Caprice’s first major win in her “PBB” journey and asserting she could handle pressure.
Pinakamalinis
It was only a matter of time before her consistent attention to cleanliness was acknowledged. During the week when Big Brother reprimanded everyone for the clutter situation in his house, Caprice was among the four housemates voted as the cleanest, most organized, and most disciplined. As one of the designated cleaning warriors and house stewards, she took on a mission to restore order and cleanliness in Bahay Ni Kuya.
Pinakamabuti
You knew Caprice’s kindness wasn’t just for the cameras when her fellow housemates recognized her as one of the four “pinakamabuti” in the Kapuso bracket, who were given the chance to compete for the “gift of immunity” in the fourth nomination round.
Caprice earned a perfect 13 votes, the same number received by Heath Jornales and John Clifford. Sofia Pablo was the other "pinakamabuti" awardee.
"She is the most deserving among all of us, lagi siyang dedicated sa tasks," shared Joaquin Arce. Echoing the same sentiment, Heath Jornales pointed out Caprice's consistency with chores and determination in tasks, "The entire stay namin dito para wala naman siyang ginawang mali, Kuya, gano'n po siya kabuti."
Even if she failed to secure the immunity, being voted as the kindest housemate was just as rewarding.
Human ‘Cake Topper’ Task
Caprice captured hearts, not just inside the house, but also in the outside world, through the way she spoke about her family. To celebrate her birthday, she was given a special task to act as a human “cake topper,” recreating poses from old family pictures flashed on the plasma screen. She had to stay frozen in each pose until Kuya’s signal.
Caprice endured even when the poses were uncomfortable and went on for more than an hour. Some of her housemates joined in, posing as the family members in the photos to support her. After completing the task, she was rewarded with her birthday cake, which she shared with her co-housemates.
The stories behind these photos also resonated with the audience, as Caprice talked about her mom and dad raising her while chasing their own second chance as teenage parents, and the grandparents who helped carry the load. Viewers saw that she's truly grounded and well-raised.
Face-to-face Nomination
There was an early assumption that Caprice, given her reserved nature, would be the “vanilla” housemate, that she'd probably play it safe during confrontations. But Caprice surprised everyone when she came fiercely prepared during the face-to-face nomination.
She called out fellow housemates calmly without stuttering. She explained her nomination votes clearly, and backed them up with ‘receipts. At the moment, she demonstrated that even if she doesn’t speak often, what she says makes sense.
KISLAP Queen
Slowly, she stepped out of her shell but never away from her roots as the nice, soft-spoken girl everyone first met. One of the biggest plot twists in her "PBB" journey is her unexpected “ship” with Heath that the whole nation is now high-key invested in.
She’s still demure and shy—very 'dalagang' Filipina-coded—but she’s learned to keep up with her housemates' jokes and let her personality breathe a little more, which is arguably why she once again won the heart of her co-housemates during the KISLAP Ball. When they cast their votes for the night's royalty, Caprice was crowned Queen, with Heath taking the title of King.
Karapat-dapat
As the competition intensified, Caprice’s reputation inside the house didn't change. During the selection of one Kapamilya and one Kapuso housemate deserving of the Big Ticket to the Big Jump, Caprice earned four votes, the highest, in the Kapuso lineup.
One vote came from Heath, while the other three were cast by Ashley Sarmiento, Carmelle Collado, and Joaquin. Heath described her as the housemate "na hindi tumutupi no matter how hard the [challenge] is." Meanwhile, Joaquin called her his "Kapuso Big Winner."
First Kapuso Ultimate 8 Member
In Caprice’s attempt at the first Big Jump challenge, she silenced doubts about her game by securing her place in Kuya’s Ultimate 8 after defeating Marco Masa on the Kapuso side.
In the task, the housemates had to transfer blocks using a stick while crossing narrow lanes marked with positive and negative points. Caprice finished with -204 points, edging out Marco’s -253.
“Kuya, ngayon pong kasama na po ako sa Ultimate 8, ibibigay ko pa rin po talaga ang best ko at ipagpapatuloy ko po kung sino talaga ako,” said Caprice, who, for someone labeled as "demure," affirmed that she is just as strong and capable of winning a task.
Throughout her entire "PBB" journey, Caprice had only been nominated for eviction once.
