Carmelle Collado and Marco Masa stans were left heartbroken when the two were announced as the final evictees of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0." And even though it hurt, many, including Kuya himself, were proud of how far they had come.
This marks the second time Marco has been eliminated from the competition. He previously exited the house during the second eviction night alongside Eliza Borromeo, but successfully made his way back through the Big Wildcard round, which was determined through voting and a task.
On his return, as Big Brother himself noted, Marco made sure his second chance would not go to waste. He showed grit and strength through back-to-back challenges—from surviving his wildcard task to fighting twice in the Big Jump after securing his Big Tickets.
He carried himself with sportsmanship when he cheered on for his fellow Kapuso housemates who competed and won in the Big Jump challenges—even if that meant he kept landing in the “almost” spot for the Ultimate 8; and proved his leadership skills as weekly leader during their sing-song performance.
His ability to sacrifice was also highlighted when he carried the Ultimate Eye platforms alone to earn food for the four housemates. The “Wonder Brother ng Antipolo” fought hard for his dream and for the people he love.
As for the tally of votes in the Kapuso bracket, Heath Jornales dominated the voting with a whopping 47.57%, followed by Princess Aliyah with 30.96%, completing the Kapuso Big 4. Marco placed at the bottom with 21.47%.
Meanwhile, even in her exit, Carmelle showed that she will always be the bubbly “Riles Diva ng Camarines Sur” we've loved since day one.
Carmelle brought color to Bahay Ni Kuya with her bright personality and musical talent, which she also used to celebrate her faith, especially during her live performance task, where she earned admiration from her co-housemates and the outside world.
We saw Carmelle as a kind and loyal friend, particularly to her best friend housemates Eliza Borromeo and Krystal Mejes (whom she gave her blocks to during the second Big Jump challenge, helping Krystal secure her spot in the Ultimate 8).
Before leaving the house, Carmelle also showed her selfless heart when she stood for four hours, enduring fatigue and discomfort just to provide food for the four housemates on the Ultimate Eye platform.
The tally of votes for the Kapamilya group showed that Miguel Vergara edged past Joaquin Arce, who had been leading the voting all week. Miguel secured 38.42%, while Joaquin received 36.85%, earning them spots in the Kapamilya Big 4. Carmelle had the lowest percentage with 24.73%.
Kuya’s Ultimate 8 is now complete! Who’s your Big Winner? Show the housemates your love and support at the Big Night this February 28.
