When Erica, Lucas, and Erica’s private investigator, Marco (Race Matias), uncover Edong’s infiltration of Alice’s home via CCTV footage, they rush to Bagumbayan, triggering the wardens to scramble after Edong, who had just returned.
In the midst of disorder, Edong forms an unexpected alliance with Usman, enabling his escape and unveiling more of his secrets, from violent outbursts to the horrors he suffered in prison.
Without pause, Edong maps out his path to his next victim after Celestino, the pious Esther. But before bringing an end to her, he first devastates Esther’s sister and nephew. On top of that, Erica’s public taunting of Edong drives him further into rage, giving her a bomb scare and a deception where he falsely hints at Mel’s death.
Feeling triumphant about Esther’s demise, he then carries out an odd manner of choosing his next victim, Mel.

Undeterred by his narrow escape from his pursuers and with the unanticipated aid of Lucas, Edong takes cover at a closed pharmacy to tend to his wounds.
