You know why we love hanging out on Kapamilya Chat? Aside from the in-depth conversations and interviews with our favorite celebrities, this is also where we get to see their unfiltered, candid sides as they take on the games prepared for them. We definitely didn’t have a shortage of fun in 2025 with the number of challenges the artists took on when they graced the show—and here are the highlight moments.
Untold Questions
Here on Kapamilya Chat, celebrities have a safe space to open up about things that they’re rarely asked about before. This is through the "Untold Questions" Challenge, where we pick up fun facts and genuine confessions from the guests as they take on the, well, as the name of the game suggests, untold questions.
Some of those who joined the challenge include "PBB Collab" ex-housemates AC Bonifacio and Ashley Ortega, who shared their funny experiences inside Bahay Ni Kuya, while Kira Balinger and Charlie Fleming gave answers that were very beauty queen-like.
In this challenge, Kaori Oinuma also answered questions about her beliefs on giving second chances. Melai Cantiveros gamely responded to queries about her parents, which we truly appreciated, knowing how much she values her privacy.
One of the questions Jane Oineza received was about the most difficult thing she’s gone through in life that no one really knows about. Desiree Del Valle and Mutya Orquia likewise revealed a portion of themselves, with Desiree even getting emotional as she opened up about realizations regarding her family, which she doesn’t always get to talk about in interviews.
Jeremy Glinoga also took on the "Untold Questions" and wholeheartedly shared his thoughts on matters of the heart.
Drink It
But there are questions that aren’t exactly easy to answer, and in times like that, celebs have the option to just take on the consequence of drinking a mystery concoction. This is the "Drink It" Challenge.
Case in point: when asked about how he felt becoming a world singing champion, from Sofronio Vasquez’s POV, the feeling was just beyond words. So instead of answering, he chose to drink.
Then there are celebs like Jennica Garcia and Elisse Joson who did their best to avoid the mystery drink at all costs, so they really forced themselves to think hard about what to say. Based on our records, one of the hardest parts of this game is when celebs are asked about their experiences working with other stars, like Iñigo Pascual, who found it tough to answer the question on who his favorite co-actor was, and Gerald Anderson, who struggled when asked who he least enjoyed working with.
What we love about this challenge is that it also turns into bonding time for guests who come in groups or duos, like Vince Maristela and his fellow ex-housemate Xyriel Manabat, who showed her fun 'jejemon' side during the challenge. There were kilig-filled "Drink It" bonding moments from JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith a.k.a. JMFyang too. LA Santos and Jeremiah Lisbo also enjoyed the challenge like they were just vibing in a casual hang-out.
Other stars who took on this challenge include Jason Dy, Bela Padilla, Sue Ramirez, and Maris Racal.
But if there were an award for this game, it would arguably go to the MiLi duo—Emilio Daez and Michael Sager—who didn’t just complete all the dares and answer all the questions, but still went ahead and downed every single mystery drink on the table.
Color Game
No one’s ever gotten drunk from the "Drink It" Challenge, but we do end up feeling totally tipsy from all the fun every time there’s a "Color Game" activity. This is the task where colored papers are laid out on a table, and each sheet has a word written on it that doesn’t match the color of the paper. The players’ task is to touch the word that’s called out—not the color of the paper.
Of course, it’s way more fun when done in pairs or groups. The "Love at First Spike" stars Andi Abaya, Dylan Yturralde, Rain Celmar, and Binsoy Namoca had a blast showing off their competitiveness. Emilio Daez and Shanaia Gomez also went all in with this challenge. Ashton Salvador, Amy Nobleza, and Ace Carrerra were just as game, too.
Meanwhile, Seth Fedelin was put to the test—would he let his loveteam partner Francine Diaz win the game? On the other hand, River Joseph and AZ Martinez looked so cute with their sibling-coded banter as they went head-to-head and tried to distract each other during the game.
Acting Challenge
Every time an acting powerhouse drops by, whether it’s a seasoned pro or a rising star with major potential, Kapamilya Chat never misses the chance to witness their talent in the rawest form, because here, there are no rehearsals. Guests have to stay on their toes for the on-the-spot scenes.
RK Bagatsing served some 'Best Actor' realness when he had to deliver his past dialogues but in the style of another iconic character he once portrayed. We were all amazed too at how quickly seasoned 'kontrabidas' Rez Cortez, Bembol Roco, and Dindo Arroyo snapped into character, no warm-up needed.
Charlie Fleming and Esnyr took on an acting-slash-modeling challenge where they had to pose based on given scenarios. Meanwhile, 'barkada comedy' was surely the best genre for Kobie Brown, Maika Rivera, and Gello Marquez, who not only acted out fun scenes but had to throw impromptu dialogues—each line starting with the next letter of a given phrase.
JM Ibarra flexed his leading man potential as he delivered his own take on iconic movie lines from some of the biggest Kapamilya actors. And of course, we got a dose of nostalgia from our long-missed KarJon duo of Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza, who were all-out with their emotions.
Lastly, John “Sweet” Lapus passed the creativity test with flying colors when he was asked to deliver famous movie lines but with a twist—he had to insert a random word he picked into the dialogue.
From heartfelt confessions to hilarious dares, unexpected kilig moments to full-on acting masterclasses, 2025 has been such a ride on Kapamilya Chat. There was never a dull moment, right?
So, we’re in for even more surprises, laugh trips, and memorable moments in 2026!
