After two weeks of splitting into duos—the usual setup we've grown used to in the OG "PBB Collab"—the remaining 12 housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" were back to forming groups, as shown in the January 5 episode.
Just like the previous team-ups, the housemates first had to face a task before forming their groups. It was a memory game to determine the group leaders. They listened to a story about a boy named Miggy and were later asked three questions about his life. The answers were hidden under six flashcards laid face-down, and they had to choose wisely.
Apart from being a test of sharp memory, the task was also a race against time. The top three fastest housemates who completed the task became group leaders, and they were Princess Aliyah and John Clifford from Sparkle, and Joaquin Arce from Star Magic. The three took turns picking their members.
Princess made a move that fans in the outside world were surely watching closely, as she picked Fred Moser, the housemate viewers are shipping her with, as one of her members. Alongside Fred, she also brought in Lella Ford and Ashley Sarmiento to form Team FLAP.
Clifford also built a strong lineup. He picked Miguel Vergara, Heath Jornales, and Krystal Mejes. The four made up Team Soaring Langga.
Joaquin had a solid strategy as well in forming a balanced alliance. He went with Caprice Cayetano, Carmelle Collado, and Sofia Pablo. They named their quartet True-pa.
Meanwhile, the remaining housemates have no clue that voting has already begun for the Big Wildcard round where one Kapamilya-Kapuso pair will soon get a second shot at re-entering Bahay Ni Kuya.
