"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" opened the January 4 episode with a recap of the first task that the housemates had to face at the start of the New Year.
For the 10th weekly task called 'Talon-Talon sa Bagong Taon', each duo had to enter a rotating jump rope without tripping. Once inside the jump rope, they had to remove their outer shirts marked with 2025 to reveal the inner shirt labeled 2026. After that, they needed to exit the jump rope without getting caught. The SofElla duo—Sofia Pablo and Lella Ford—were assigned as the weekly task leaders.
Sofia and Lella immediately gathered the other housemates to explain the task and start strategizing and practicing. In the middle of their practice, Carmelle Collado became emotional as she could no longer hold in the heavy feelings she was carrying, like pressure and the fear of making mistakes. Aside from these heavy emotions, Carmelle was also dealing with physical pain from soreness in her legs, which she felt with every jump on the rope. Despite everything, the housemates successfully completed the task.
Meanwhile, the aftermath of Rave Victoria and Anton Vinzon’s eviction was deeply felt, especially by their closest friends. Upon Anton’s exit, Sofia broke down in tears, saying she felt like she lost her “comfort person” inside Bahay Ni Kuya because Anton was the friend she found easiest to approach and confide in.
Rave’s duo, Ashley Sarmiento, also couldn’t hold back her tears. "Nag-crash ang puso ko nang sobra-sobra," said Ashley, explaining that even though she saw Rave smile on his way out of the house, she still felt heartbroken over his eviction. "Ang dami pong magbabago kasi siya lang naman 'yung nang-aasar sa akin sa boys kaya mami-miss ko po talaga si Rave," Ashley said in the confession room.
Meanwhile, it was finally confirmed during Sunday’s episode (January 4) that “PBB Collab 2.0” will have its Big Wildcard wherein two evicted housemates will have the chance to return to the ‘competition.’
Four ex-housemates (two Kapamilya and two Kapuso) will first be chosen via public voting. Then, the top 2 Kapamilya and top 2 Kapuso vote-getters will face off in a challenge until a duo (one Kapamilya and Kapuso) remain and make it back inside the house.
The eight housemates participating in this round are Waynona Collings, Reich Alim, Marco Masa, Eliza Borromeo, Lee Victor, and Iñigo Jose, as well as Anton and Rave who were both evicted just this Saturday, January 3. Voting is officially open and will run until Saturday, January 10.
