Even though their families have been business partners for a very long time, being friends—or at least being cordial—with each other seems to be impossible for Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) and Rockyboy (Baron Geisler), as they tend to always fight whenever they meet in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”

As we look forward to seeing if there’s still a chance for them to make amends and even become genuine allies, especially now that both of them have found a common enemy in Tanggol (Coco Martin)—who they’ve been eyeing to topple down—let us revisit the intense confrontation scenes of Rockyboy and Miguelito via this edition of Friday 5.

Right on the very first time that they came face-to-face again after not seeing each other for quite some time, the two men immediately had a scorching spat when Rockyboy brought up how Miguelito poached his ex-girlfriend, Allyry (who turned out to be Franki Russell), from him. Of course, being the pompous person that he has always been, Miguelito provoked Rockyboy by blurting out stuff he knew would offend or trigger him, such as by insisting that it was Allyry’s choice to go with him.

And Miguelito indeed got the prize he’d been asking for, as he succeeded in annoying Rockyboy, who gave him a strong punch as a gift. An intense fisticuff ensued between them, which totally shocked and scared the guests who attended the victory party of the Guerreros following their win in the latest elections. They only stopped when both their families arrived at the scene, with Roberto (Albert Martinez) being able to interfere between them.

Just when we thought that there was going to be a truce during the Guerreros’ meeting with their political allies, an altercation sparked between Miguelito and Rockyboy, who didn’t agree to the amount of kickback they would extract from the infrastructure projects. The 40% cut being demanded by Miguelito absolutely didn’t sit well with Rockyboy, so he resisted and called him greedy. He went on to tell him, “Tandaan mo, Mayor. Ang buwaya, kapag busog, madaling mahuli,” to which Miguelito clapped back, “Pondo ng lungsod ko ‘yon, Rockyboy. I own it.”

The two once again figured in a heated spat when they saw one another at a club one night, with Miguelito being accompanied by the woman that caused their initial skirmish—Allyry. It turned out that Rockyboy used to ask her to do things that she didn’t like to do, based on what she told Miguelito, who vowed not to let that happen again anymore.

Since he apparently hadn’t moved on yet from her, Rockyboy wasn’t able to stop himself from confronting them, only to be embarrassed by Miguelito, who insisted that Allyry dumped him for him. This obviously piqued Rockyboy, who reiterated that Miguelito stole her from him and alleged that Allyry cheated on him.

Rockyboy attempted to assault Allyry, but Miguelito was able to stop him and warned him about ruining his night if he kept on ruining theirs. As Allyry went to the ladies’ room, Miguelito talked to Rockyboy about what just happened and the possible reason why he found it difficult to get over her, to which the latter retorted that he must be thankful that he wasn’t drunk yet and that he was delighted to see him.

As Miguelito noticed that it was taking Allyry a long time to return and Rockyboy was nowhere to be found, Miguelito immediately went to the ladies’ room, and there, he caught him forcing himself on her. A bloody and vehement scuffle ensued between them, which left Rockyboy beaten up after Miguelito sought the help of his henchmen.

Is a ceasefire still possible for Rockyboy and Miguelito? Let’s find out by not missing an episode of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” weeknights at 8 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, ALLTV2, iWant, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
