Three of the most well-loved housemates from “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” were Will Ashley, Bianca De Vera, and Dustin Yu. After their stay inside Bahay ni Kuya, the three continued to shine in the outside world, and even away from the spotlight, their friendship remained strong.
As they take on the “Love Out Loud: Heart to Heart” challenge, discover their first impressions, favorite moments, and the heartwarming messages they shared with one another.
Will and Bianca: Growing together on and off screen
Bianca’s first impression of Will was that he was quiet and reserved, an opposite of her loud and outgoing personality. She admired his seriousness, especially toward his craft. Her favorite memory with Will was their time in Europe filming “Unbreak My Heart,” where he often accompanied her during free days.
She fondly recalled, “Sobra siyang mag-asikaso,” praising how thoughtful he was. The Kapamilya actress was happy to reunite with Will after working together in “Unbreak My Heart” in 2023, calling it an honor to share the screen with him again after their “PBB” stint.
Meanwhile, Will once thought Bianca was an introvert if not for their co-star bond. Bianca joked that it’s her “dream,” since it’s the opposite of her outgoing personality. “Kasi that time [Unbreak My Heart days], hindi talaga siya nagsasalita, pareho kami… nagulat ako nung nag-shoot na kami, ang daldal pala nito,” Will recalled.
What he liked most about Bianca was her bubbly personality, “Sobrang kikay talaga eh. Madadala ka niya, lalo kapag ‘yung mood ay sobrang down, kaya niyang i-angat ‘yung energy.” Working with her, Will said, was easy and fulfilling, “Happy ako, madali gumawa ng eksena kasi nararamdaman ko talaga ‘yung character mo.” He admired how Bianca kept the set feeling like family, making sure everyone belonged and even sharing food. If given the chance, Will revealed he’d love to do an action project with her.
When asked what they would want to tell each other right now, Bianca expressed how proud she is of Will: “I'll always be proud of you, kung nasaan ka man, we'll always be on the sidelines cheering for you.” Will shared the same sentiment toward Bianca: “Proud din ako sa’yo, siyempre. Kasi nakita ko ‘yung laban mo 2 years ago and sa Bahay ni Kuya. Talagang nilakasan mo ‘yung loob mo.” He added that Bianca deserves everything she has achieved throughout her career.
Asked to write messages for each other, for Bianca, Will wrote: “I'm so proud of you, you deserve all the good things in this world. Continue shining, don't change. Always pray.” And for Will, Bianca wrote: “Will, ‘wag magbabago, okay? I'm so proud of you and how far you've come. Andito lang ako, always.”
Bianca and Dustin: Forever duos
Bianca and Dustin also took on the same challenge. Dustin shared that what he first liked about Bianca---aside from her looks---was her jolly and energetic personality. Working with her left him impressed, “Ang galing mo. Honestly, nape-pressure ako. But at the same time, I get to learn a lot from you. ‘Yung emotions mo, ramdam na ramdam ko.” Bianca, in turn, noted that Dustin’s constant support is one of the reasons she does well when working with him.
When asked a lighthearted question about Bianca’s singing, Dustin said he admired her confidence and how it influences him. The two even sang a bit of Ogie Alcasid’s hit “Nandito Ako.”
Later, Bianca asked what Dustin’s impression of her would be if they weren’t co-stars. Admitting he gets easily intimidated by other artists, Dustin replied, “Feeling ko mai-intimidate ako, mahihiya ako sa’yo.” He revealed that after leaving the “PBB" house, he watched clips of Bianca and was amazed by her acting skills. Dustin envisioned to star in a rom-com project with Bianca---an idea she happily agreed with.
Meanwhile, Bianca’s first impression of Dustin was that he seemed quiet and serious, “You carry yourself in a mature way… knows how to command a room.” She also admires Dustin's business-minded nature. When asked if she was happy to work on a project with him, Bianca quickly answered “yes,” admitting she once thought she’d never share the camera with Dustin again after “PBB.” She added how grateful she is that they now share the same craft and passion.
Answering the question “What’s one thing you’ve wished we’d done before,” Bianca said she wished to go to Japan with Dustin---a plan they had talked about since their time inside Bahay ni Kuya. She shared her desire to bond with him there, traveling and enjoying Japanese dishes together. As for her favorite memory with Dustin, Bianca recalled one of their “PBB” tasks where he was the assigned leader, saying it showed her how different he is inside and outside showbiz.
When asked what they would want to tell each other right now, Dustin expressed his admiration for Bianca: “I’m proud of you sa lahat ng narating mo ngayon. I hope na magtuloy-tuloy ‘to, mas marami pang sumuporta sa’yo. Sana mas marami pang blessings makuha mo throughout your journey.” Meanwhile, Bianca kept her message simple yet meaningful, “Never ako nagsisi or magsisisi na nag-yes ako sa’yo as my final duo. I can’t wait for you to prove people wrong. Keep going, keep shining. I’m very, very proud of you.”
Capping off the segment, Dustin and Bianca exchanged messages for each other. For Bianca, Dustin wrote: “I'm very grateful for every moment I share with you. Always know that I'm always here for you and I'm proud of you. Keep shining. Forever duos!” Meanwhile, Bianca wrote for Dustin: “Keep shining, duo! You'll always be my favorite task slayer---in “PBB” and here in the outside world. Proud ako sa’yo.”
Will, Dustin, and Bianca’s authenticity and excellence---both as actors and as individuals---continue to shine, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for them.
