While he was busy fighting against the angry protesters who were crowding them, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) wasn’t able to notice that Erika (Gillian Vicencio) was already gunned down by Rockyboy (Baron Geisler), who hid himself among the mob. It was revealed afterwards that Rockyboy actually didn’t intend to shoot her, as he went back looking upset and quite disoriented at his meeting place with Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group.
Since it was his eldest brother whom he’d seen around the area, not to mention that he heard him angrily blurt out that he would finish off the Guerreros, it prompted Santino and Jackie (Angel Aquino) to assume that he was indeed the one who shot Erika dead. Thus, in his pursuit of avenging the unforeseen demise of the love of his life, he vehemently searched for Tanggol and caught him in an alley, where he shot him twice in different parts of his body.
Tanggol got distracted upon being called by his brother, whom he hadn’t seen for quite a long time, and was completely shocked when he fired at him. He instantly fell to the ground, with Santino telling him that he did it for Erika and their baby in her womb, whom he believed were killed by Tanggol.
Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) was astonished as well to witness what had just transpired and displayed his villainous look that conveyed how pleased he was to see that Santino, who has been under their family’s wing for quite some time already after getting his sister pregnant, is also furious at his brother, who is now his greatest rival.
