Dia may be best known for winning “Reina Hispanoamericana 2025” in the beauty pageant’s 34th edition held on February 9, 2025, in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia—the second Filipina to ever clinch the title following Winwyn Marquez’s triumph in 2017—but she’s actually a promising singer-songwriter first and foremost.
It was in 2020 when her music career started after she participated in an online talent show where she finished as a grand finalist. She went on to learn music production and began sharing her music on streaming services since then, which include the tracks “Ikaw Ang Pinili Ko,” “Fantasy,” “Ako Lang,” and the TikTok-viral “Ganda Gandahan.”
As a dedicated musician and a staunch advocate for mental health awareness and prevention of violence against women and children, she teaches music to inspire and uplift the residents of CRIBS Foundation, Inc., an orphanage and rehabilitation center for abandoned infants and abused teenage girls.
She’s been in a loving relationship with musician Juan Karlos Labajo
It was during Valentine’s Day of 2024 when Dia and Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo surprised his Instagram followers after the record-breaking singer-songwriter and “Idol Kids Philippines” judge apparently “hard-launched” their relationship by posting a black and white photo of them in a sweet pose while wearing full-faced motorcycle masks.
The couple may have kept their relationship quite low-key, yet their overwhelming support for each other’s endeavors has been palpable. They would post tributes for one another’s birthdays and momentous life and career milestones.
