Everyone’s been raving about JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith’s acting in iWant’s original series "Ghosting," and no one could deny that it's a big reason why the digital series was such a hit and why a Part 2 is already in the works. But while we wait, JMFyang decided to spoil us a little on Kapamilya Chat by showing off more of their acting magic, this time through a fun challenge of reenacting iconic Kapamilya movie scenes.
Scene one was from "The Hows of Us." Yup, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo’s unforgettable rain-soaked confrontation where Primo asks George, “Jo, ano? Pagod ka na ba?” which recently sparked a dance craze. JM and Fyang gave it their all, but of course, they broke into the “Pagod Na Ako” dance like the scene was suddenly a musical. So 'kulit' these two!
Their second challenge was to reenact Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga’s dramatic face-off in "Starting Over Again." JM went "laban na laban" with the iconic “I deserve an explanation” line, as if he didn’t even want to cut the scene, like Papa P's soul had taken over his body.
For the finale, they stepped into the shoes of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil in "My Ex and Whys," where Liza asked, “Pangit ba ako? Kapalit-palit ba ako?” This round totally belonged to Fyang as she ate up the scene with her “mata-mata” acting.
If this challenge is any preview, then JM and Fyang are definitely more than ready to take their acting to even greater heights in "Ghosting" Part 2.
