He may look nonchalant most of the time, but JM Ibarra isn’t afraid to let loose when the spotlight turns playful. The rising actor recently joined Kapamilya Chat and took on different challenges, including one where he had to answer random, juicy questions.

Here, he would choose cards with question from different categories, and the first one he got was from the ‘Random’ pile, "Kung mabubuhay ka ulit, ano 'yung araw na pipiliin mong bumalik?" He thought about it and said he’d go back to the day he was born, but with all the wisdom and experience he has now. That way, he wouldn’t be starting from scratch. Makes sense, right?

Next up, from the ‘Would You Rather’ deck, he had to choose between always being talked about or not being talked about at all. JM admitted he’d rather be talked about—even by bashers—because he’s already used to it. But while he can shrug off attacks directed at him, he can’t tolerate it when bashers involve his family, who have nothing to do with showbiz.

If he could have any superpower, he’d choose time travel just so he could peek into the future and avoid the things best left avoided. Fittingly, his next card asked whether he’d rather have a pause or rewind button in life, to which he picked "pause." He'd love to just rest, reflect, and truly take in all the amazing things happening in his life. He’s grateful for everything, but he also wants to make sure he cherishes each moment before it all flies by too quickly.

To wrap it up, the other half of JMFyang tandem was asked which season he sees himself in. And his answer was, "Lahat." Because, just like life, and sometimes his mood, he believes everything changes in its own time.

JM recently starred in the iWant series "Ghosting" alongside Fyang Smith. He's also set to make his big-screen debut in the Cinemalaya entry "Child No. 82," marking an exciting milestone in his career and proving that he’s ready to take on even more challenging roles.
