The moment everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived—the release of the official and final results of the elections. As all four candidates for councilor of Team Tanggol made it to the cut, with their candidate for congressman, San Dimas ex-barangay captain Leo Mojica (Rey Campanilla) defeating Don Gustavo Guerrero (Dante Rivero), the Montenegros were confident that Olivia (Chanda Romero) and Tanggol (Coco Martin) were also going to make it.
As Olivia was self-assured that she would be able to beat his half-brother, Roberto (Albert Martinez), as the new vice mayor of Manila, everyone was shocked to find out that she only got 45% of the total votes. Roberto’s efforts in manipulating the outcome of the elections indeed worked, as he got a total of 508,857 votes against Olivia’s 383,874 votes.
While the Guerreros were already celebrating, assuming that the people of Manila still loved him, Olivia was absolutely crestfallen upon learning and confirming that she had indeed lost. She was utterly devastated, more so when Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) told her that he would just ask Tanggol to give her a position in the city hall once he got elected mayor.
