Taking a break from their portrayals of their roles, Boying Ortega and Noel Alcantara, respectively, in the ABS-CBN Studios primetime series “Sins of the Father,” JV Kapunan and Elyson de Dios swung by Kapamilya Chat not only to share their experiences working on the said project, but also to take on the fun games specially prepared for them.
One of which is the “Bardagulan Game,” wherein they had to pick a card from a bowl and had to do what was stated in each. However, if they couldn’t do or they failed to do the dare, then they had to take a shot of one of the mystery drinks in front of them as a consequence.
The first one to choose a card was JV, which asked them to take turns in mentioning local female singers. He may seem to initially doubt that he would win in this game, as he asked if they could also say names of international artists since he perhaps knew only a few, yet JV still won against Elyson.
JV was able to mention Sarah Geronimo, Moira dela Torre, and Denise (though we’re not sure if he was referring to Denise Laurel or Denise Julia), while Elyson already went blank after coming up with the names of Jaya and Regine Velasquez. So, it was him who had to take the first shot, which appeared to be a fruit juice.
Meanwhile, Elyson got the card that told him to say a pick-up line to someone—in this case, JV—and he had to make them smile. Unfortunately for him, JV was apparently not impressed by his “Cebu ka ba?...Kasi gusto ko CEBUhay mo” pick-up line, so he had to take another shot, and it was just water.
For the second round, JV picked the card that asked who between them has more exes, which he politely refused to answer since he’s already happy as a family man at present. Thus, he picked another one, which asked who between them struggles more to get permission from their parent or partner whenever they probably have to go out. JV admitted that it was him, so he had to take a shot, which turned out to be a safe drink.
And lastly, Elyson’s fluency was put to the test when he was dared to recite the popular Pinoy tongue twister “siopao, siomai, suman” for 10 times. He tried to do it but was only able to make one, as he already failed in the second.
