After tagging along with the brothers Patrick (Joshua Garcia) and Matmat (Carlo Aquino) as they settle into their new life in Maravida, Jason (Francis Magundayao) is once again forced to start his business from scratch. But being no stranger to the siblings’ constant relocation, he quickly comes up with a fresh idea—Jason's Inasal.
While Jason welcomes a new batch of customers, Matmat, whom he hired as one of his helpers, receives a call from Patrick reminding him of his scheduled appointment with Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz) later that afternoon.
That gives Jason an idea for a promo, wherein for every P500 single receipt, customers get a free sketch or caricature from Matmat. But the plan hits a snag when Matmat hesitates. He doesn’t want to lie to Patrick, who thinks he’s working solely as a helper at the restaurant, and not moonlighting as an artist.
After a long round of convincing, Jason sweetens the deal by offering Matmat ₱50 per drawing. That gets Matmat to agree, on one condition—that Jason tells Patrick the truth about the job offer.
