Maris Racal has been booked and busy lately. With her jam-packed 'ganaps' promoting the film “Sunshine” and the action-drama series “Incognito,” which, by the way, is already nearing its intense finale, our girl’s sched has been non-stop.
So, Kapamilya Chat thought it'd be nice to give her a quick breather through a game. In the "Drink It" Challenge, Maris had to pick 5 out of 10 juicy questions and either spill the tea or face the mystery drinks. Keep reading to see how Maris handled the challenge!
In the first round of questions, Maris opened up about her biggest life lesson, which is to always keep learning and growing outside her comfort zone. “Live a full life,” she smiled, explaining that it’s important not to stay stuck in just one world. Showbiz may be her main scene, but she makes sure she’s also living her life beyond it.
When she pulled a question about her work pet peeve, Maris admitted that while she hasn’t experienced it yet, she hopes never to work with a co-actor who comes unprepared. She really values professionalism and teamwork, which is why she tries her best to arrive on set with her game face on.
Asked to choose between acting and business as of now, Maris said she’d still pick entertainment. But make no mistake, she’s business-minded too. Maris shared that she would like to invest in more properties and eventually get into real estate.
Maris struggled to name just one favorite co-actor she’s worked with, though. There are just too many. So instead of giving herself a hard time, she sipped one of the mystery drinks.
But when asked which actor she's scared or intimidated of working with, she said it would've been the late drama icon Cherie Gil. It was a dream of hers to work with the actress known for her ‘kontrabida’ roles, even though she would've been nervous. She also mentioned Maricel Soriano as someone she’d love to share the screen with, "Kahit takot na takot ako.”
For the final round, Maris was prompted to give a message to her younger self, and she said, "Thank you. Ginawa mo ang lahat para marating ko kung nasaan man ako ngayon. Thank you dahil masipag ka. Thank you dahil napakatapang mo. Thank you dahil hinarap mo ang kailangan mong harapin."
