After being ghosted by her college flame, Jaja (Fyang Smith) decides to escape the noise and head to the province to stay with her grandmother, hoping the fresh air and quiet life would help her heal. But the calm doesn’t last long. There, she crosses paths with Wilberto (JM Ibarra), a mysterious local with a 'spooky' secret.

This is the charming plot of JMFyang's series "Ghosting," which marks their acting debut and has started streaming via iWant.

To test just how well they understand their own characters, the two recently took on the Haunt Seat Challenge, where they went through questions about Jaja, Wilberto, and everything that haunts them in between.

The first question asked how they would describe each other’s characters. Fyang said Wilberto is selfless, while JM’s answer wasn’t too far off either, saying Jaja is naturally loving and warm toward everyone.

When asked what their characters would rather experience—seeing a ghost or becoming one—JM thought Wilberto would probably prefer to become a ghost himself, just so he could live in peace. Fyang, on the other hand, would rather see a ghost, since being a ghost would mean Jaja is already dead. But after thinking it through, she added that if being a ghost meant she and Wilberto could be together in the afterlife, then maybe she’d take that chance too.

If their characters were to encounter a ghost, JM imagined Wilberto would probably just befriend it, as if it were no big deal. Fyang hinted that Jaja actually has scenes in the series where she sees a ghost but doesn’t react in fear, so if it happens again, she thinks Jaja would still be calm about it.

As for who Wilberto loves to scare the most, JM admitted that Fyang is his favorite target whether in the story or in real life, and none of his scare pranks have failed so far, "Sinisigurado ko maghihiwalay 'yung katawan at kaluluwa niya."

Fyang has been a victim of his pranks even at work, like one time inside ABS-CBN when JM waited for her to come out of the restroom. It was pitch dark, so she got genuinely terrified, "Akala ko last gulat ko na. Sobrang sakit sa heart!"

Finally, when asked what songs best represent how they feel about each other as Jaja and Wilberto, JM chose “Mishu” for Jaja, while Fyang picked “Kaya Mo Ba” for Wilberto—both songs from her own EP.

“Ghosting” is one of the flagship titles of the newly revamped iWant, which now features a more personalized and sleeker interface that places “Filipino feels” at the heart of streaming favorite shows, movies, and live content across all devices.

Don’t miss the supernatural romance of “Ghosting,” streaming exclusively on the new iWant.
