Since she had already mentioned it to Tanggol (Coco Martin) while he was still confined at the hospital, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) relayed to him everything that Tindeng (Charo Santos) had told her about their real connection with the Guerreros. She also presented to him the documents of the assets that Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) had transferred under the name of Tindeng, which proved that she’s indeed his daughter.
It all finally made sense to Tanggol why Tindeng was highly against his candidacy since she didn’t want him to go head-to-head with the Guerreros, who were actually their relatives. Even though Marites insisted that the Guerreros are now their family, this doesn’t weaken Tanggol’s desire to exact revenge on them for killing David (McCoy de Leon).
Ramon (Christopher de Leon) also chimed in by reminding Tanggol that although there’s Guerrero blood flowing through his veins, it’s the Montenegro traits that remain dominant in him.
