The July 19 episode of "Rainbow Rumble," hosted by Luis Manzano, got extra iconic as some of our beloved 'Titas' of OPM went head-to-head in a battle of brains and 'bilis.'
Pinky Marquez, Celeste Legaspi, Nanette Inventor, Mitch Valdes, and Leah Navarro came to play, as well as promote their upcoming fundraising concert. Pinky walked away with the ₱1 million cash prize.
The "Rally To The Top" elimination level, where the goal is to reach the top of the pyramid to win cash prizes and advance to the jackpot round, was packed with witty banter and a whole lot of fun as the Titas proved that age is just a number when it comes to answering trivia questions.
The game took a very unpredictable turn. At one point, Pinky was already in the lead when Celeste managed to pull her one step back. But Pinky made a solid comeback and conquered the first stage, moving on to the jackpot round called the "Rainbow Reveal" where she had to roll six Die Rolling Machines (DRMs) and land on six unique colors within 60 seconds. Each new color would earn her an additional ₱5,000, while getting all six different colors meant taking home the grand prize of ₱1 million.
Before the actual roll, Pinky had to answer six bonus trivia questions—if she got at least three right, she’d earn a free color advantage for her first DRM. And yes, she nailed it.
She earned one free color (blue) after correctly answering three out of six bonus questions. With that advantage in the bag, Pinky began pressing the DRMs one by one—and one by one, the colors started appearing, from pink, green, to yellow and purple.
With still 12 seconds left on the clock, only one color was missing, which was red. And then, like it was meant to be, red finally appeared with a few more seconds to spare.
Pinky now joins the "Rainbow Rumble" millionaire club as the third jackpot winner on the show, following "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" ex-housemate Emilio Daez, who took home the prize back in August 2024.
In an exclusive interview after the game, Pinky was asked how she prepared for the show, to which she joked that the first thing she really planned was her pink floral outfit, which turned out to be her lucky charm.
But on a more serious note, she shared that the experience felt overwhelming in the best way. "It's a mixed feeling of being thankful and being blessed." She also mentioned that this blessing is going toward her family, the people she needs to help, and saving up for the future.
Part of that also includes education for children, a cause close to her heart. Pinky has been supporting scholars even before this win and plans to continue sharing her prize money with them.
When asked which part of the game was the hardest, Pinky said it was the floor-swiping race. But even then, she was simply enjoying the moment and thought the prize is just a bonus. "I was just happy that we were there for a good cause, promoting [the concert]"
"But to win is something else," she gushed.
