Bisdaks represent!
If you’ve followed Charlie Fleming and Esnyr’s journey in "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition," then you’d know how much they wanted to inspire and put the spotlight on their fellow Bisdaks.
So, let’s celebrate the Bisdak community with Charlie and Esnyr in this Bisaya Challenge, where they take turns picking three Bisaya words and use them in a sentence. Trust us, the results were giving 'lingaw' (fun) overload!
In the first round, Charlie picked the words sapatos (shoe), langoy (swim), and wakwak (a mythical ghoul). Fun fact: “Sapatos” and “langoy” are the same in Filipino and the Bisaya dialect, Bisdaks just utter them with that signature accent. So for her sentence, Charlie came up with, “Kadto bitawng wakwak, gitangtang niya ang iyang sapatos para mag-langoy.” In Filipino, “’Yung aswang, tinanggal na 'yung sapatos niya para lumangoy.” Only Charlie would casually imagine a mythical creature taking off its shoes before a swim—witty!
Then it was Esnyr’s turn, and he got kaldero (cooking pot), tulo (drip), and gikapoy (tired), which he constructed into, “Gikapoy na 'ko sa kaldero nga sigeg tulo ug tubig.” In Filipino, that translates to, “Pagod na pagod na ako sa tumutulong kaldero.”
The final round was just as chaotic in the best way. Charlie got “bukot” (which means to get covered in a blanket), “saba” (noisy), and “sipon” (colds). In true witty-Charlie fashion, she served, “Saba kaayo ning bata naga-tulo ang sipon lami kaayo ibukot ang ulo.” She thought of a noisy kid with a runny nose, so loud and snotty she just wants to throw a blanket over them.
Then it was Esnyr’s turn again. He picked “tiyan” (tummy), “kalit” (suddenly), and “kulba” (nervous). With the drama and 'OA' energy only Esnyr can give, he dropped, “Sa akong ka-kulba, ningkalit ra ug hilom ang akong tiyan.” When asked what that meant, he just said, “May ulcer ako.” We laughed way too hard at that one even though we’re pretty sure that’s not what he actually meant.
Ending this Kapamilya Chat episode, CharEs thanked everyone who rooted for them in "PBB Collab," where they finished strong as the 3rd Big Placer Duo.
