Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) visits David’s (McCoy de Leon) grave together with Ramon (Christopher de Leon). While still grieving and aching over the death of her son, she apologizes for not being there to pay her last respects to him. She also expresses her gratitude to David for asking for Tanggol’s (Coco Martin) forgiveness. She says she knew from the very first start that he had a good heart despite their disputes. “Sana mapatawad mo rin ako. Sana mapatawad mo ang Nanay sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko sa iyo,” Marites pleads.
With the clash between the Guerreros getting more extreme and bloody, Marites can’t help but be worried about Tanggol’s state. “Paano si Tanggol? Paano? ” Marites questions Ramon. He affirms that he will protect their son. “Sigurado ako hindi sila titigil na hindi nila na isusunod si Tanggol,” Marites says. Ramon keeps on repeating that Tanggol will be safe and he will be more secure once he sits down as mayor.
Before the Meeting de Avance kicks off, Marsing (Pen Medina) and Nita (Susan Africa) receive their share from recruiting people to increase the supporters of the Guerreros. Jackie Guerrero (Angel Aquino) asks Jessa (Dyosa Pockoh) and Loisa (Loi Villarama) to make their speeches about Fatima (Andrea Brillantes) more convincing, emphasizing that she’s an opportunist.
Fatima is determined to reveal the Guerrero’s dirty secrets. “Kapag hindi ko ito gagawin, hindi ko mabibigyan ng hustisya ang pagkamatay ni Mamu,” she declares.
Olivia (Chanda Romero) becomes increasingly anxious about the Guerreros’ plan to harm Tanggol after a warning from her mother, Pilar Guerrero (Celia Rodriguez). She subtly asks his son to just go home since he might get bored with the event, but Inigo (Albie Casino) insists on staying to support his mom.
“Ngayong gabi natin pababagsakin ang mga Guerrero,” Olivia tells Tanggol. However, Tanggol doesn’t want to play dirty—he didn’t even prepare a speech. While Olivia plans to destroy the Guerreros’ reputation, Tanggol is determined to fight fair and speak from the heart.
Jackie takes the spotlight as she promotes her advocacy for women’s empowerment. She exclaims, “May boses tayo, hindi tayo magpapaapi kung kani-kanino. Dahil kaya ng mga babae baguhin ang mundo.” However, during her speech, she also mentions that not all women are deserving of help, just like Fatima, Miguelito’s (Jake Cuenca) ex-girlfriend. She describes her as “bruha” and tells the crowd, “Binilog at pinasakay niya ang anak ko.” Loisa and Jessa agree with what Jackie revealed. They support her claim by saying that the Benitos are a family of scammers.
When it’s Don Gustavo’s turn to addresses the crowd as part of his bid for Congress, the beneficiaries of his medical and scholarship programs join him to show their support and share how he helped them. While Gustavo confidently delivers his campaign speech, Jackie recalls how he assaulted her. He also calls his wife Pilar to the stage and introduces her as his life partner.
Meanwhile, at Tanggol’s Meeting de Avance, his councilors proudly share their proposals, each one aimed at benefiting the community. Tanggol expresses confidence in their group’s victory and vision for change. Olivia remains uneasy but finds comfort in the thought that Guerrero’s plan to eliminate Tanggol might still work in her favor.
As the campaign continues, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo) spots Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) in the crowd through their CCTV. This immediately raises alarm, as they are well aware of Santino’s deep resentment toward Tanggol and fear he might be plotting something.
Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) urges and pressures Santino to plant the bomb and push through with their plan to avenge his brother David’s death by killing Tanggol. With heavy, angry steps, Santino walks closer to the stage.
