Asia’s King of Talk, Boy Abunda, appeared in the July 1 episode of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition," taking on the mission of helping viewers get to know the Big 4 duos better through his trademark fiery questioning.
The duos were given the chance to throw questions at the other duos as well. BreKa (Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca) was challenged by Will Ashley, who asked, "Naramdaman namin ang pagiging competitive ninyo, bakit nawala ito at ano naman ang nakapag-balik ng apoy sa inyo?”
Brent admitted he struggled to show his competitiveness outwardly, as he was also constantly battling himself, especially during times he felt he was falling behind. “‘Di ko lang siguro naiparamdam ‘yung competitiveness but I was always in competition with myself. More so nung mga panahon na lagi akong nasa mababang ranggo, nasa least desirable.”
On the other hand, Mika confessed that she actually felt like letting go of her fighting spirit at times because of their bond with their fellow housemates. "It's easy for me to let down my competitiveness, dahil napamahal na ako sa inyo at nakita ko rin kung paano kayo lumaban. It was easy for me to not fight as much." But in the end, it was that same friendship that reignited their drive, "Bumalik ‘yon dahil din naman sa inyo, pinaramdam n’yo sa akin na deserve namin ‘yung spot namin and dapat namin ipaglaban ito.”
