Now we finally see why Will Ashley is known as the “Mama’s Dreambae ng Cavite” and why Ralph de Leon is dubbed the “Dutiful Judo-Son ng Cavite.” In the June 26 episode of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition,” both boys mellowed from their usual competitive mode when their parents paid a surprise visit to Bahay ni Kuya.
Ralph was all smiles as he rushed to embrace his dad, Raffy, who came with a 'pasalubong.' Daddy Raffy brought shrimp, Ralph’s favorite. He joined the housemates at the dining table, casually chatting with everyone and even played along when the housemates started teasing AZ Martinez.
The teasing turned into a playful “meet the parent” moment when Daddy Raffy asked AZ to sit beside him while they were eating and joked that she might just become a “de Leon.” Ralph laughed and commented that his dad is way more talkative and funnier than he is, to which Daddy Raffy added that Ralph took after his doctor mom, who’s the quieter one in the family.
Later on, Daddy Raffy sat him down for a quiet heart-to-heart and reminded him to just stay calm in the coming days, "If it’s gonna be there, it’s gonna be there. You’ve come this far. Okay na ’yun.” It was the exact kind of calm and reassurance Ralph needed in the final stretch toward Big Night.
