"ASAP” remembered, honored, and celebrated Pope Francis last Sunday, May 4, featuring heartfelt performances inspired by his message of hope and compassion.
Viewers seemed to be transported back to the monumental apostolic visit to the Philippines of the revered and beloved Pope Francis in 2015, as they reminisced on some of its highlights. We were further filled with nostalgia as Darren Espanto spearheaded the singing of “Tell The World of His Love”—just like what he did 10 years ago—and was joined by “ASAP New Gen Singers” Carmelle Collado, Lyka Estrella, Khimo Gumatay, and JM Yosures.
On the other hand, “ASAP” powerhouse singers Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievra, Ogie Alcasid, Angeline Quinto, Erik Santos, Jona, and Jed Madela moved us with their version of “We Are All God’s Children.”
