Back in 2010, Angeline Quinto first stepped on the "ASAP" stage, as a guest performer during the Grand Finals promo of "Star Power," the Kapamilya singing competition where she was crowned grand champion. She remembers being extremely nervous at the time because she used to just watch the popular Sunday variety show with her family at home. So when it was her turn to perform on that same stage, she felt both excited and overwhelmed. She kept rehearsing even if she already knew the song by heart because she wanted to do well, especially since her relatives would be watching, especially her beloved mother, Mama Bob, who was so proud of that moment.

She officially became an “ASAP” regular in 2011. If she remembers it right, her first performance as part of the main cast was with none other than Sarah Geronimo.

Looking back, Angeline said she never imagined she’d last this long on "ASAP," let alone still be part of it now as the program celebrates its 30th anniversary. "Almost fifteen years na rin na kasama ko ang ‘ASAP’ family pero hindi na-imagine rin naman na aabot ako nang ganito katagal. Kasi kada taon marami tayong Kapamilya na nadadagdag. Minsan naiisip ko, 'Kailangan pa ba nila ako?' Pero dahil sa pagmamahal nila at tiwala rin sigro sa akin bilang isang singer, hanggang ngayon nandito pa rin ako," she shared.

One of her favorite bonding moments with her "ASAP" co-stars happens off-cam, usually during "ASAP" shows abroad or birthday productions. "Nagiging memorable lalo ang pagsasama ng ‘ASAP’ family kapag kumpleto kami," she said.

She’s also proud to have been part of the Birit Queens, a segment that lasted for years, long enough for her to truly feel how much people loved their group, which included Klarisse de Guzman, Morissette Amon, and Jona. Asked about her most unforgettable moment with them, she recalls a live performance when Klarisse had trouble with her microphone. Angeline saw the production team scrambling to fix the issue and looking for a replacement, but instead of waiting, she handed Klarisse her own mic, because that’s just how their teamwork shows.

Angeline and Klarisse actually go way back. They had already been crossing paths during their amateur singing days and even competed in the same season of “Star for a Night” in 2003, where Sarah emerged as the winner. Not many people know this, but their moms were also close back when Angeline’s Mama Bob was still alive. That’s why even now, Angeline checks in on Klarisse’s mom, like asking who’s at home with her and making sure she’s doing fine, knowing that Klarisse is inside Bahay Ni Kuya as "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” housemate.

She’s proud of how Klarisse’s “PBB” journey is unfolding. When she found out Klarisse would be one of the housemates in “PBB Collab,” she hoped people would get to see her fun, loving side—something fans don’t always witness in her onstage performances. And Angeline is happy that that’s exactly what people are seeing. And she only has huge respect for Klarisse bravely coming out on national TV

In this Kapamilya Chat episode, Angeline also opened up about how she balances her work, like "ASAP," while being a mom of two. She admits that she does get tired sometimes, but she’s grateful that her family understands the nature of her work. Every now and then, she brings her eldest, Sylvio, who’s now three years old, to "ASAP" tapings so he can slowly get a sense of what she does for a living.

Now a successful artist and a mom, Angeline continues to dream—just like the message of her breakthrough hit “Patuloy ang Pangarap.” One of her biggest goals is to give her children a good life. And when it comes to her career, she hopes to one day win a Best Actress award. If the universe allows it, she also dreams of acting alongside Sarah, Vice Ganda, and Charo Santos.
