Kolette Madelo is officially stepping into her 'singer era' and her 'moonies' are so excited for this new beginning. There's no denying that this “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” alum has the voice and charisma to pull it off.
So to test just how wide her song library is, and, honestly, just to hear more of that beautiful voice, Kapamilya Chat dared Kolette to take on the "Sing the Situation" Challenge. In this game, she’s presented with a list of random scenarios, and she has to come up with a song that perfectly matches the mood of each one, then sing a few lines on the spot.
When asked to think of the perfect track for those times she goes over budget, Kolette belted out the dramatic “No, no, no way!” from "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going." Well, who hasn’t had a little financial meltdown after checking their spending?
For the all-too-familiar situation of being stuck in traffic, she sweetly sang the opening line of The Script’s "The Man Who Can’t Be Moved"—“Going back to the corner where I first saw you”—then explained, “Going back, uuwi na lang kasi traffic."
When prices start going up again, Kolette knows just the right anthem, "Price Tag" by Jessie J. Because yes, it’s really not about the money, but it would be nice if things weren’t so expensive all the time.
After a heavy meal, when she’s way too full to even move, her song of choice would be the jukebox hit, "Aray," because as she joked, “Sumakit na tiyan sa kabusugan."
And when asked her song for when she accidentally leaves her phone at home, Kolette turned to the live viewers for help. One fan commented "Telephone" by Lady Gaga, and Kolette gamely sang a few lines.
