The red carpet is not only for solo stunners or duos/loveteams, because isn't it so much more fun when you walk as a barkada? One of the squads that truly brought character to the red carpet of ABS-CBN Ball 2025 on Friday, April 4, was Tanggol (Coco Martin)'s 'tropa' from "FPJ's Batang Quiapo."
Renz “Baby Giant” Bana, Sugar Ray “Mammoth” Estroso, and Mark "Big Mak" Andaya, alongside Smugglaz and Bassilyo of 'Batang Tondo' gang in the series walked as a group and brought their own 'paandar' on red carpet dressing. From tailored suits to sneakers and shades, they came with swag and character.
Baby Giant definitely wasn’t one to be ignored, as he was dressed to impress in a sharp blue jacket, paired with a white shirt and a classic black bowtie. So charming!
Smugglaz, in true hip-hop fashion, rocked a gray jacket with matching pants and a white inner, elevating the streetwear vibe with some bling and sneakers, staying true to his roots while still looking sharp. Bassilyo also made a statement with his black jacket, featuring intricate floral details, a nod to the Spring Formal theme.
Big Mak, meanwhile, went for an all-black ensemble paired with sneakers as well. Mammoth opted for a classic black and white tuxedo paired with his quirky red hair and edgy shades, and then posed on the red carpet with comedic flair.
